This white frame house was originally the house of August and Justena Lange and their seven children. The original home was built in 1874 for the Boehringer family and additions were added in both 1881 and 1898. A blacksmith shop, milk house, silo and other small buildings still remain. In 1986, Prof. Joan Schreiber purchased her family's farm and began efforts to create a "walk through time." This is a private residence.
