ROCK CLIMBING WALL

Climbing Wall We sheeted one wall of our 4 story training tower and ended up with a climbing surface measuring 8'x40'. It has two top-roped routes with a total of 40 holds from Petrogrips .

The left route is rated 5.7 while the right route is a 5.9.

The wall is intended to increase the confidence and skills of our Technical Rescue Team especially for those times when we may have to make an "exposed move" to set an anchor. It will also be used for Rescue classes, Fire Fighter training, Team Building and organized public events.

Our WESCO Training Tower with 2 story residential section and 4 story tower & elevator shaft offers unlimited training opportunities. We have installed a riser complete with FD connection, valves and sprinklers on each floor.

40 of the 43 holds are from Petrogrips. Each hold is unique and being natural granite or sandstone gives you the feel that resin can't. Plus, for an outdoor wall like ours, UV light and the elements should not effect them as it would resin. We're not purists by any means but the natural quality of the holds is very asthetic.
