TECHNICAL ROPE RESCUE
This is a 16 hour course which will prepare the rescuer to safely rig rescues from Low Angle, Steep & Vertical environments. This course is intended for participants with a basic knowledge of ropes, webbing, knots, hardware and rap pelling skills. We begin the program by reviewing the items mentioned earlier. Then we progress into anchors, raising and lowering devices and patient packaging with the majority of the class spent in practical application.

NOTE: You are expected to have the basic knowledge and skills mentioned earlier. Upon request we will send our student handbook to course registrants so that they may better prepare for the class.

Students are required to provide their own helmets, clean leather gloves and adequate footwear. We strongly recommend that you bring your own harness, rappel device, 3 locking-rescue carabiners and an assortment of slings and prussik cord.

Please call if you have any questions about the prerequisites or requirements.

E-mail us or call (319) 291-4275 for more information.
