FIRE FIGHTER MIKE SCHMITZ
Mike started with Waterloo Fire Rescue in 1975. Mike is a Fire Fighter I, First Responder, HazMat Technician and a Driver/Operator. Mike was selected as Waterloo Fire Rescue's Fire Fig
hter of The Year for 1993. He is the department's first photographer. He enjoys camping, fishing and photography. Mike and his wife, Ronda, have been married since 1974 and have three boys, Eric, Adam and Cory.
