HAZ-MAT CERTIFICATION COURSES

HazMat Awareness - This 8 hour course is for any EMS, Fire, Rescue, or Law Enforcement personnel who in the course of their work may be first on the scene of a hazardous materials incident. This course provides the information necessary to assist you in recognizing and identifying a hazardous materials incident and aids you in activating the local emergency response plan. Meets or exceeds the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120

HazMat Operations - This 16 hour course is for any EMS, Fire, Rescue, or Law Enforcement personnel who in the course of their work may be called upon to render a scene safe using defensive tactics presented during the course. Defensive tactics may be necessary to insure the safety and well being of the first responders and local residents. Meets or exceeds the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120

HazMat Technician - Industry - A 24 or 40 hour course depending on site specifics. Tactics taught in this program will allow you to take an offensive response to a hazardous materials incident. Meets or exceeds the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.

HazMat Technician - Emergency Responders - An 80 to 120 hour course detailing tactics for offensive hazardous materials responses involving industrial or transportation sites. A strong emphasis is placed on the safety of team members and the public. Meets or exceeds the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.

HAZ-MAT RECERTIFICATION PROGRAMS

Awarenes Level Recertification - A 4 hour refresher course highlighting the constant changes in hazmat response with hands on demonstrated competency.

Operations Level Recertification - A 4 hour refresher course highlighting the constant changes in hazmat response with hands on demonstrated competency.

Technician Level Recertification - An 8 to 16 hour course outlining and explaining the requirements and methods to command the highly technical field of hazardous materials response. Meets or exceeds the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.
