Sartori Sick Care

The Answer to Working Parents' Prayers:

When your child is ill, turn to Sartori Sick Care. The kind of care you'd give...Care that's Close to Home.

What is Sartori Sick Care?

Sick Care is a program designed to help parents care for their sick children. It is especially helpful to working parents. Placing your child in Sartori Sick Care is much safer than leaving him/her at home alone. Also, you don't have to miss work or risk your sitter's refusal to accept a sick child. Sick Care is a quality alternative for caring for temporarily ill children.

How does Sartori Sick Care work?

If your child is pre-registered, all you need to do is bring him/her to Sartori Sick Care when they're ill. If they're not pre-registered, a simple process of registration is easily accomplished. Your ill child will be cared for by hospital personnel in one of our hospital rooms. Children with communicable diseases will be isolated.

How much does Sartori Sick Care cost?

Because your child is not actually a hospital patient, your cost is surprisingly low...only a little more than a babysitter. And our service includes food, juices, milk (or clear liquids).

What about my regular Day Care?

Sartori Sick Care is not in the business of competing with regular child care practitioners. However, most babysitters and day care centers either refuse or are reluctant to take your children when they are ill. We understand this reluctance, and we're here to help.

What do I need to provide?

You will need to provide the clothing, diapers and toys your child will need. Diapers may be purchased from the hospital at a nominal cost. You must also provide your child's medicine, including Tylenol or aspirin.

Are they any special restrictions?

Children, from age 2 months to 14 years, are welcome. Sartori Sick care is available 24 hours a day, with a maximum stay of 10 hours per day. Pre-registration is advised to make check-in quicker, but not required. Please try to give us 8-hours advance notice that you're coming...a minimum of a 1-hour notice is required.
