Message: I am an Alumni and I still like to check in with East High. I work at the NBC affiliate in Des Moines. I been in TV for nine years now. I'm on TV Sunday nights with our Sports Sound-off show. I just really miss the high school years, and it's amazing how much one can grow from those early years til now.  Message: Hello!  I'm so happy to see that East now has a JROTC program.  Promoting the military is so important- not everyone is able to afford college right after high school, and not everyone is ready for college right after high school.  I'm proof of that.  ; I've been in the Air Force for the last 5 years and have my degree, paid for by the Air Force.  It's the best thing I've ever done for myself! 

 Also, it was shocking to see Kelli Benson's name as the head cheerleading coach.  I cheered with her when she just was a sophomore and I was a senior!!!  Good for her!  I'm sure her everlasting spirit is doing great things for all of your cheerleaders!
