Endeavor Recognition Project

The Endeavor Recognition Project was established by UNI's Leadership Studies Program and the YWCA of Black Hawk County in 1994.  The mission is "to recognize positive achievements and efforts within the community and, by doing so, inspire others to initiate similar efforts, bringing hope into the future."  The project sponsors are Allen Health Systems, Leadership Studies Program of the University of Northern Iowa and the Y.W.C.A. of Black Hawk County.

Those who are eligible to be nominated for the award are students, staff and adult volunteers in the high schools (both private and public) in Black Hawk County. Groups, organizations or offices may also be nominated. Anyone may submit a nomination. Nomination forms may be obtained from the Guidance Office, by contacting the project's director or by downloading the form.  Acrobat Reader required.

Winners are recognized at an awards program in April each year.
