Within the Agriculture and Natural resources Pathway are several “Career Clusters”:

Agricultural Business: Understand business operation and management related to agriculture. Study finance, economics, organization, marketing, sales, computer applications, and record keeping.

Agricultural Mechanics: Study fabrication, design, welding, engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electricity. Learn current technology, physical science principles, and practical problem solving.

Animal Science: Learn animal anatomy and physiology, nutrition, reproduction, genetics, and health. Understand how the sciences relate to animal production and management.

Ornamental Horticulture: Prepare for the nursery, landscaping, and floral industries. Learn plant classification, propagation, culture, marketing, fertilization, pest control, landscape design and floral arranging.

Plant & Soil Science: Study plant classification, physiology, reproduction, pathology, breeding, and biotechnology. Learn soil, water, pest and equipment management as well as cultural and harvest practices.
