Hall of Fame
Dedicated students, teachers, administrators, support staff, parents and community have helped East High School maintain an enviable reputation for quality education for well over one century in Waterloo.  East High School graduates have excelled in the fields of science, medicine, law, business, engineering,, education, music, the arts, religion, and service to their country.  Graduates of the "Halls of Troy" have made dynamic impacts on all facets of life reaching around the world.

The Hall of Fame honors those people connected to East High, living or deceased, who have distinguished themselves through their achievements, service and contributions which reflect positively on the educational foundation received while attending East High School  and as a result, have been a credit to East High School. 

The successes of those inducted into the Hall of Fame can be measured in many ways, including contribution to community, society, career, scholastic or other high achievement; civic activities; service to others; success despite obstacles; or lifetime achievement. Recipients have established a reputation of honor and serve as models of excellence.

Nominations are accepted until September 15 of each year with recipients inducted yearly during Homecoming Week in the autumn.  Nomination forms (Acrobat Reader required) may be obtained by calling (319) 433-2400, by downloading the nomination or by writing to East High Hall of Fame, 214 High Street, Waterloo, IA, 50703.
