Big E Booster Club
The Big E Booster Club was formed to encourage and support student participation in extra curricular activities and provide an avenue for parents to communicate with East High staff. The club meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 PM in the new Commons.
Meetings are just a small part of what the club is about. Members also; sell merchandise to increase school pride, work concession stands to project a positive school image as well as make money and have organized the best post prom party in town. The club is also involved in; ?Pride? days to enhance our facilities appearance, supports parent recognition events and have raised funds that have assisted numerous groups and projects.
Here is a partial list of accomplishments with Big E involvement: softball and baseball field renovations, new scoreboard wall mats and paint in Fred J. Miller gymnasium, new concession stand for softball and baseball and press box for baseball, student center renovations and several landscaping improvements around the campus. An East High Athletic Hall of Fame and All State recipient listing are being established.
The club provides great ways for parents to support all East High student activities including the ones their kids are involved. These activities make our young people healthier, teach the value of a strong work ethic, cooperation and discipline and fills free time with something worthwhile.
The more parents that are involved means the more that can be accomplished. Provide a good role model for your family and be part of a solution, not part of the problem by becoming a member of the Big E Booster Club
