The "Ring of Honor" has been established to recognize former outstanding East High football players who excelled during their playing career at East High School. This select group of former Trojans will have made major contributions to the success of East High School football and brought positive recognition to the program from their outstanding achievements on the gridiron for the Orange and Black. The inductees will be selected from a panel of past and present players, coaches and personal directly related to the program.
The common denominator for all members of the "Ring of Honor" is knowing that regardless of the year they played or the achievements of the team they played on, they share an equal status. Once identified, all "Ring of Honor" inductees attain a lifetime membership. Each member never graduates, never goes on the injury reserve list, is always eligible, never moves out of the district and never transfers. This is the highest honor a football played a East High can attain.
Red Carpet Golf Club serves as the gracious host for our annual event. Attendees enjoy great conversation with former and current Trojan Football players. It truely is a great event.
Inductees will have to have graduated from East at least 10 years prior to the induction and will be nominated by East High Alumni, Coaches and supporters.
