The ATV went through the ice in the middle of Big lake on February 25, 2005. The Ice condition made it unsafe to try a recovery at that time, so we had to wait until ice out.

The ATV was located by Diver Trent Ryan and Tender Doug Kloster. The ATV was raised to the surface with a lift bag and pulled to shore.
