| 3 - Verify that your user ID
is in the Name field, and the phone number is correct
(232-4135). You
can retype your password in case it is incorrect.
4 - Click on "Options" at the bottom
of this window. Set "Redial:" to "Redial
main number only.", "Redail 100 times."
and "Time between tries: 5 seconds."
5 - Click on the "Connections"
tab. You need these lines to be checked:
"Connect auromatically when starting TCP/IP applications."
"Flash icon in menu bar while connected"
"Disconnect if idle for 30 minutes"
6- Click on the "Protocol"
tab. Make sure the first two linds only are checked:
"Allow error correction and compression in modem"
"Use TCP header compression"
7- This should bring you back to the
main PPP screen. You can either click on "Connect"
to test the connection right away or click to close
the window. It will ask you if you want to save your
changes. Tell it "Yes."
