Over the Shoulder Horn
Donated in 1994 by
Luther and Judy Burket of Cedar Falls and
restored to playable condition by Mr. Justin Nelson
Note the position of the mouthpiece and bell which indicate
that this horn truly had to be played "over the shoulder." It
was used by military marching bands so that the troops marching
behind the band could hear the music.
There are unfortunately no markings on the horn. If anyone happens
