Yam Entry Regulations

Only AEI members are eligible to enter student work. (Membership dues must be paid at or before January board meeting for work to be accepted.)
Each AEI member may enter up to 10 pieces of flat, 2-D student art work. Each member will have no less than one piece accepted.
Maximum matted size: 16" x 22" (due to space limitations).
Art work must be covered with clear vinyl or acetate to protect the work (no thin alternatives or shrink wrap).
Labels must be typed and attached as indicated or it will be disqualified.

Art works submitted will be juried during the January AEI board meeting. Bring them to the meeting or mail to:

(allow 10 days if mailing)

 

Artworks accepted during the January meeting would be used during the March exhibition and returned to regional members/reps during the spring meeting. All remaining work after this date will be made available for pick up at the summer board meeting.
Artworks not accepted during the January meeting would need to be claimed at the end of the meeting by those who brought them.
Each student whose work is selected for the exhibition will receive an invitation to the Yam reception as well as a certificate and pin during the reception. Art teachers and administrators will also receive invitations to the exhibit/reception.
