Legislative Information

As arts educators, it is very important that we keep abreast of legislative issues that affect general education and arts education. One of the best ways you can advocate for arts education is by keeping informed about current issues and expressing your opinions to Iowa's decision-makers. The following links provide two methods for doing just that.

State of Iowa Legislative Homepage allows you to access your area's legislators. You can even write and send them feedback online.

Iowa Alliance for Arts Education is Iowa's only non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to building high quality arts education opportunities for all Iowans. Annual membership is twenty dollars.
