Auction for Action
Help raise awareness for the importance of the arts in education! Only through advocacy can we begin to communicate the reality of the need for the arts in school.
This year, AEI will again be hosting a Silent Auction to raise funds. This year, the chosen organization to receive those funds is The Iowa Alliance for Arts Education. The IAEE is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that promotes the importance of arts in the Iowa educational system. To learn more about IAEE, visit their website at http://www.smartz.org/
To help support their cause, which is also ours, donate an original artwork, art materials, or art books to be auctioned at the Fall Conference! It can be as simple or as detailed as you like…just like art, anything goes! You may drop off your artwork at the registration table on Friday or Saturday. The auction will take place throughout the weekend, with the winning bids announced on Saturday at the Awards Dinner.
